HOUSE OF HOPE IS AN ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE ORGANIZATION AND WILL NOT CLOSE DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. As a substance use treatment facility, we are critical to the public health and safety of women and children throughout Utah. We are looking for dependable workers dedicated to rebuilding lives, strengthening families, and empowering women even during difficult times. House of Hope is dedicated to health and safety of our employees. We endeavor to provide all preventative safety measures and establish strict sanitation protocols in accordance to the Utah Department of Health.
Status: Part Time, 28-36 hours/week DOE, weekend and evening availability required.
Description: This is a unique position that combines skills development for Women in Recovery, interior design, facility management, project management, coach and teacher. Facilitates the daily operations of four residential facilities with support of Residential Leadership Team. Includes organizing skills development projects, monitoring supplies, handling donations and storage, home improvements, checking residents in/out of facilities, frequent interactions with Clients and Staff, reporting maintenance issues, and monitoring general functioning. Responsible for assistance with annual licensure of facilities and attendance at weekly Clinical Staff Meeting. Must have ability to maintain compassion and unconditional positive regard for clients under any circumstances, great communications skills, initiative, and positive energy. Seeking compassionate, solution-focused, organized, and self-motivated individual to assure efficient operations of residents and facilities. Prefer people who are problem solvers, manage stress well and get excited about spearheading new projects to improve others quality of life. Challenges of this position: Requires working early evening hours, some holidays, weekend, frequent challenges require problem solving and patience, requires ability to motivate groups of people to accomplish a task, schedule may vary from week to week dependent upon projects.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
-Great communication skills
-Bachelor’s Degree in field of communications, psychology, business, social work, etc. preferred
-Previous experience with non-profit or residential programs a plus.
-Willing to work flexible hours
-Able to lift 40lbs
-Functional computer skills
-This is a non-smoking work site.
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least two years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Wage: $14-$15/hr DOE
House of Hope is a non-profit organization providing addiction recovery and behavioral health services to help women rebuild their lives and strengthen their families at seven facilities in SLC and Provo.
