PT Food Service Assistant
Location: Salt Lake City

As a substance use treatment facility, we are critical to the public health and safety of women and children throughout Utah. -Compassionate but able to set firm limits and communicate in a calm, yet assertive manner
-Able to engage with women from diverse backgrounds and various learning styles with empathy
Status: Part Time
Wage: $12/hour; raise available after 6 months, 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available.
Hours: Up to 28 hours/week, Monday-Friday 10am-2pm; some flexibility required, occasional evenings
-Good time management, problem solving skills, and a team player
-Has a Food Handler’s Permit and/or Serve Safe credentials, or able to obtain in the first 30 days of employment
-Can follow proper sanitation methods for food prep and storage
Other: Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft office.
Description: This position is an assistant to the Food Service Manager and will work in partnership to plan and prepare meals, teach clients about nutrition and food safety, keep the pantry and kitchen clean and organized.
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-This is a non-smoking work site.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 2 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation.
