PT Client Services Specialist – SLC

As a substance use treatment facility, we are critical to the public health and safety of women and children throughout Utah. House of Hope, established in 1946, specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders and family reunification for women and children (ages birth to eight) is seeking a mature, self-motivated, nurturing women to mentor mothers as a Group Specialist. This position is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy the challenge and growth from working closely with groups of people who are trying to make positive life changes. House of Hope has a dynamic team of clinicians and support staff dedicated to helping families overcome addiction and is the oldest substance abuse program in Utah. Clinical supervision, curriculum and training provided.
Status: Part Time

-Responsible for transporting women individually or in small groups to various appointments
-Keeping records, filing electronic and hard copies
-Have excellent communication skills, problem solving ability and able to be respectfully assertive as needed.
-Completing other special projects as needed to assist the program, being flexible with job duties, teamwork mentality
–Due to the nature of this position, we can only consider female applicants
–Has assertive communication skills and great with stress management
-Has a basic understanding of human behavior, addiction, and women’s issues
–Can engage with women from diverse backgrounds with empathy and various learning styles
–Organized, ability to prioritize and multitask
-Proficient with Microsoft is required, proficient on iPads is helpful
–Reliable with assigned hours
-Strong understanding of professional ethics and boundaries
–Willing to drive own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) or agency vans, have a current Utah driver’s license, insurance and a good driving record.
-Must be able to climb stairs and lift 40-50 pounds on occasion, if needed.
-This is a non-smoking work site.
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least two years of sobriety.
-Must have personal reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current insurance.
Hours: Up to 28 hours/week, requires some flexibility depending on needs of the agency Monday – Friday, 8 am – 6 pm. Please include your availability in your cover letter. Mandatory training 2nd Monday of each month 2 pm – 4 pm.
Wage: $13/hour 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available.
