PT Assessment Therapist

House of Hope, established in 1946, for the treatment of substance use disorders (SUD) and behavioral health services for women and their families is actively seeking to add full and part-time clinical counseling positions to our SLC team. What is special about House of Hope? As the oldest SUD program in Utah, the program’s mission is to help women and families recover from the devastation of addiction and heal from past traumas. Staff are focused on helping each woman obtain the insight, skills and resources that–added to the strengths she already has–can help her create a healthy, self-sufficient future in recovery.

Assessment Therapist, 8-24 hours per week with flexible scheduling between 10 am – 7 pm, M-F, to conduct substance use disorder and mental health assessments using the ASAM model. Up to $30-50 dollars an hour depending on licensure, experience in assessment, and quality of written work. Assessments are in two parts: in-person interview at House of Hope office with client and written work completed on site or remotely within 48-72 hours.

Qualifications

Must be done to fidelity to ASAM and best practices for court and clinical use. Must have experience in doing adult assessments. ASAM training preferred. Must be licensed in good standing with a Utah LCSW, MFT, or CMHC. Experienced assessors without full licensure or licensed as ASUDC considered.
