PT Admissions Assistant – SLC

Location: Salt Lake City

-Answer basic questions about the program
-Coordinates assessment schedule and paperwork
-Data entry of authorizations, urinalysis results into clinical management and billing system
-Take admission calls and conduct the initial screening of potential clients seeking substance abuse treatment, ascertain insurance coverage, schedule assessment appointments and facilitate referrals
-Identifying basic needs and eligibility for services
-Making appropriate referrals to facilitate services
-Conducting urinalysis testing services for new clients
-Entering data into a clinical management and billing system
-Maintaining and tracking admissions information
-Assisting with various other duties and special projects on an as-needed basis

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
-Understands addiction and experience working with high-risk populations preferred
-Has excellent spelling, grammar and verbal communication skills as well as professional telephone and email communication
-Can manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
-Displays effective organizational skills
-Friendly and professional
-Team oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $14-16/hour depending on experience; 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available.

Hours: 28-36 hours/week between the working hours of: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm

Agency Requirements:
-This is a non-smoking work site.
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 2 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation.
