FT Operations Assistant – SLC

Are you interested in creating and maintaining a safe environment while cultivating productive relationships with women in a residential program? Do you want experience working in treatment programs specializing in alcohol/drug recovery and other women’s issues? House of Hope is currently seeking an operations assistant to ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities by modeling positive communication and maintaining physical safety of each facility.

-Maintain supplies in all facilities to comply with licensing procedures and inform maintenance of any needed repairs or upgrades
-Coordinate client care, orient clients to programs and work with groups of clients to accomplish goals
-Monitor inventory for each house including linens, appliances, cleaning supplies, etc.
-Inspect the cleanliness of client rooms and organize deep cleaning projects
-Keep storage areas neat and organized
-Coordinate with development staff to organize donations and assist with volunteer projects
-Oversee self-sufficiency clothing garage and hygiene products
-Assist Director of Operations with special projects and events
-Cover shifts in residential facilities in emergencies

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
-Has interest in facility management, preferably in residential care
-Has a talent for organization and order
-Communicates effectively in person and in writing
-Strong leadership skills and self-starter; can hit the ground running with projects
-Can organize data, understand computer basics, strong attention to detail, and good time management
-Able to lift 30-40 lbs

Wage: $16/hour, DOE. Full benefits package including health insurance, dental, 2x salary life insurance, 30+ days off a year for holidays, vacation, sick; 401(k) dollar for dollar match up to 5% after one year with vesting schedule, employee recognition and other incentives are available.

Hours: 40 hours/week, typically Monday through Friday between 8:30 am -7:00 pm. Some weekend hours may be necessary. Flexible hours are dependent on agency needs.

Agency Requirements:
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-This is a non-smoking work site.
-Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug test.
-If in recovery, must have at least 2 years of sobriety.
-Must have own reliable transportation.

House of Hope is a non-profit organization providing addiction recovery and behavioral health services to help women rebuild their lives and strengthen their families in SLC and Provo.
