Hope Center for Children - Salt Lake City

"Strengthening one child, one parent, one family at a time."

The Hope Center for Children provides a variety of services for families participating in the House of Hope's treatment programs in Salt Lake City. Services are individualized, based on the needs of each child, with specialized attention given to the issues surrounding the impact of substance abuse on the family.

Our day treatment program provides a structured therapeutic environment which, through consistency, safety and stability, helps to promote the daily success of each child as he or she progresses toward healthy developmental milestones. The program focuses on creating ways to strengthen the social and emotional well being of each child, while helping him/her self-regulate behavior and meet his/her needs through positive self-expression. Our classrooms have the advantage of a low child to teacher ratio and on-site consultation from child development specialists. Each child has an individualized assessment, developmental evaluation, treatment plan and a children's case manager and therapist assigned to him/her. Linkages with allied agencies are utilized when further evaluation and treatment is indicated for the child.
