House of Hope (formerly Utah Alcoholism Foundation) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing substance abuse treatment, education, and prevention services throughout Utah since the 1950s. Contributions and donations are tax-deductible.

Admissions Information - House of Hope Provo

If you are a Utah County resident and are interested in receiving substance abuse treatment or have been court referred, and cannot afford treatment, you will first need to contact Utah County's Division of Substance Abuse.

Steps to Admission:

  1. Schedule an assessment: This is a free service that helps our staff understand what impact drug and/or alcohol abuse is having on your life. Please review Criteria for Admission to House of Hope Provo (PDF)
  2. Prior to Admission: Pull together important documents and contact information, schedule any necessary appointments, and create a current list of prescribed medications (or a 30-day supply in original containers for residential clients) before entering treatment.
  3. Plan for the financial expenses: At the time of your assessment, you and/or your family will be informed of your financial responsibilities regarding your treatment.
  4. Pack for residential treatment: Knowing what NOT to bring is as important as understanding what to bring with your during your residential stay. For a list of items to bring and to leave at home, click here for the packing list (PDF).
